Will Laundry Reimagined protect my privacy?

Laundry Reimagined believes your laundry is personal and as such your privacy is respected in everything we do. None of your personal information will ever be sold, shared, or otherwise given to anyone without your permission. This not only includes any financial information you may provide for payment but also what items you provide to us for cleaning. What you send to us is your business and it will stay that way. Simply put, we respect your privacy and we won’t air your dirty laundry.

Is Laundry Reimagined a public laundromat?

We are NOT a public laundromat. We operate a facility with high end laundry equipment solely for the purpose of serving our customers while maintaining strict controls over what is laundered in our machines.

Do I need to be concerned about contamination of my items from other households?

Our policy is that none of the items from your household will ever be laundered with the items of another household. We inspect every item before it is washed and sanitize any items we find in need. We maintain hygienic conditions throughout our process to assure that you receive your items back hygienically clean every time. Our washers and our other working surfaces are sanitized regularly.

Can I specify the laundry products that Laundry Reimagined uses to launder my items?

At Laundry Reimagined we have tested several laundry products and we do not publicly endorse any particular one. We recommend you allow us to choose the laundry products used to clean your items because our reputation rides on it and we believe it will give you the best results while allowing us to control our costs. We use name brand consumer products that are available in many retail stores. At your request, we will use the detergent or fabric softener of your choice on your items, but if we do, please recognize that they may not provide you with the best results.

Does Laundry Reimagined provide dry cleaning of items?

We are NOT a dry cleaner and as such we do not provide dry cleaning of any items.

Does Laundry Reimagined provide air drying of items?

Laundry Reimagined will air dry those items as specified on their garment care tag and/or upon special request. We have ample drying space for those items labeled “line dry”.  For items that require flat drying we have limited space available in our process, but enough to handle most typical orders. However, if you submit an order with a large amount of flat drying required there may be an additional drying fee. In those cases, we will contact you for pre-approval of any drying fees before proceeding.

Does the Premier Laundry Service provide for the return of garments to me in plastic garment bags?

As a part of our service, any items that are requested to be pressed will be returned to you in dry-cleaner type plastic garment bags. In order to minimize the plastic waste generated, all other garments are returned to you without garment bags. Our promise to you is that we will manage your garments during delivery in a manner which keeps them hygienically clean and free from any debris. However, if you want any of your non-pressed items to be bagged for delivery, we will be happy to bag them for you at an additional cost of $0.50 per bag. Garment bags can hold up to three garments each.

Does Laundry Reimagined place any limits on what they will accept for laundering?

We accept most items that are water washable. We do however reserve the right to refuse to launder any items which are provided to us that represent potential risks. Items which we believe may be damaged by our laundering process will be returned to you. For personal safety and liability reasons, we cannot accept laundry which contains bio-hazardous, controlled, regulated, or hazardous substances. They will be returned to you for proper disposition.

Does Laundry Reimagined inspect all items before laundering?

We perform a soil inspection of each item to determine if any stains are present and pre-treat them as necessary. We also perform a cursory inspection for the presence of any items which might have been left in the pockets by the customer. If anything is found during that inspection it is returned to the customer when the order is delivered. Laundry Reimagined relies on the customer to remove ALL their personal items from their laundry before submitting their order. Laundry Reimagined is not responsible for any damage to an order caused by items left in the pockets.

I want to be able to control my costs for the service. How do I know how many pounds of laundry is in my bag?

You can easily determine how many pounds of laundry is in your bag by using your bathroom scale:  
  • 1. Pick up your bag and weigh yourself
  • 2. Weigh yourself without your bag
  • 3. The difference between the two readings is the weight of your laundry.

How soon do I get my clean laundry back?

You will receive your clean laundry on the second business day after your dirty laundry is picked up.  

Why do you only offer two business day service? Can I get my laundry back the next day like other services?

It’s about taking the best care of your clothes. At Laundry Reimagined, we believe that extra day to process your garments is more important than getting clean laundry back one day sooner.  Most of our customers maintain enough clean clothing to get them through a week and aren’t stressed about a 24-hour turn-around. Our laundering process includes earth-friendly practices, which can take a little longer. But that ensures we take better care of your garment with minimal environmental impact.  Because we take one more day, we provide cleaner clothes, less wear-and-tear on garments and an overall better-looking garment. Your clothes will last longer—and look better.

What happens if I go on vacation one week?

If you go on vacation, or for any reason you wish to suspend the service, please notify us for the dates you would like to suspend the service no later than 24 hours prior to your initial suspended pick-up date so we can alert our driver. A $25 no-show fee is billed if notice is not given and our driver arrives for a laundry pickup.

Where do you pick up/return my laundry?

When you sign on for Laundry Reimagined service, we will visit you at your home to discuss when and where you would like the laundry pickup and return. We ensure that the process is done in a convenient, secure manner. Our team can provide options that will make the process go smoothly. Those might include:  
  • An over-the-door hanging rack
  • A garment rack in a secure, covered area
  • An outdoor Delivery Pod
  • Garage door opener access
  • Premium Service with in-home delivery by a trained, bonded Laundry Reimagined delivery team member
